ABOUT === Lena Lieselotte Schuster is an artist who has focused her research on Interspecies Art for two decades. In 2021, she founded the INTERSPECIES ART HUB (Verein für speziesübergreifende Kunst) to support collaborations between human and non-human artists. The augmented reality memorial FOREVER, which she realized in public space of Vienna, Venice, Kassel, New York and Saarbrücken, is dedicated to her dog Carlos von den Hügeln, who achieved fame as an artist during his lifetime. In the last few years she shared her studio in Vienna with Paris van der Thunder, a French Bulldog, who created sculptures out of fabric and soft materials. Lena Lieselotte Schuster studied New Artistic Media with Ulrike Rosenbach at the HBKsaar in Saarbrücken and Performative Art with Carola Dertnig at the Academy of fine Arts Vienna. Since 2019 she has been in charge of art mediation at Kunstraum Niederoesterreich, Vienna.
